Victory Point Games mentioned on Twitter today that their tabletop space strategy game Star Borders: Humanity will be hitting the shelves (and your table) sometime next week:

Also mentioned in that post is a notice for the upcoming Star Borders: Aliens, which will be a two-player game that can be played standalone or combined with other Star Borders games. Star Border: Aliens will feature the new Intermediate level of rules, which features Faction special abilities, flagships, cloaked ships, and more. It will introduce two new factions: the Rhame Swarm and C1B0RG Collective. Currently the game is still in initial development, which it will then move into playtesting stage before release. 

The Star Borders series is all about space combat between two players in their efforts to control the bit of space, far away from their actual governments. It is all about beating your rival for nothing but personal glory.

UPDATE: In getting in touch with VPG over Humanity's missing product page, it is due to it being down until its release next week as a Second Edition. Keep an eye out!
