Location : Russia Opponents : Germans vs Russians Description : Towards the end of Operation Wintergale, the attempted relief of the German 6th Army in the Stalingrad pocket, the German 6th Panzer Division made an attack up a valley about five kilometers east of the town of Vasil'evka, only to run into elements of the Russian 13th Mechanized Corps. Based on the Panzerblitz scenario "Attack Up the Valley" from the Imaginative Strategist website. The scenario was converted to East Front II using the same standards as those used in the previous Ode to Panzerblitz series. Uses East Front Gold (Version 1.03). Also included are corrections to some scenarios from the original Ode to Panzerblitz. |
