A close run category which has just been won by Flashpoint: Red Storm developed by On Target Simulations and published by Matrix Games. A classic “Cold War gone hot” game based in the 1980’s with NATO facing the Soviet tide.

Mobile Game of the Year

The runaway winner in this category was iOS game Drive on Moscow published by Shenandoah Studio. The initial Nazi invasion of Germany in WW2; playable as either German or the USSR on your iPad or (in v2.0) your iPhone.

Another tight category, however, in the end Freedom – The Underground Railroad by Academy Games came out the winner. A game that deals with what is still a difficult subject for many.
