The Wargamer

Cryptic Studios has some updates regarding the development of the highly anticipated MMO, Star Trek Online.  Known for its outstanding work in creating City of Heroes and City of Villains, Cryptic has turned its attention to the Star Trek universe and fans are eagerly awaiting news.  Finally, we have some.  

First, we have an update to Cryptic's periodic blog, Ask Cryptic.  From time to time a thread opens up on the Star Trek Online forums and the developers invite questions.  The forum is then closed, and Cryptic goes to work answering those questions.  Then the answers are published.  The latest round of Q&A has been released and can be found here. These questions deal with how transport will take place (warp drive details), ship customizations, power allocation, and more.

In addition a few new screenshots have been released.  The Wargamer has also managed to obtain a couple of images of ships in the game, including the "signature ship".  Enjoy!
